Data Analyst - forecasting (Reno, NV)

Nova Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on survey data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
