Data Analyst - forecasting (Reno, NV)

Cedar River Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Reno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
