Data Analyst - forecasting (Reno, NV)

Silverline Fox Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 524 people based in Reno. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
