Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Harborlight Timber Auto Group is a Little Rock company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
