Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Granite Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its El Paso plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
