Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Harborlight Beacon Markets serves neighbourhoods around Knoxville with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
