Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Vista Markets serves neighbourhoods around San Jose with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
