Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Summit Quarry Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Detroit area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Investigate trends in field visits and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
