Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Fernwood Wren Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
