Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Iron Construction Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
