Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Highbridge Bright Financial Group serves customers across Rochester with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 132 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
