Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Nova Fern Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Toledo area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
