Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Nova Rook Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
