Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Vale Learning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in school calendars and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on enrolment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
