Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Drift Legal Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in intake forms and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on court deadlines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
