Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Summit Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Charlotte plant, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on ingredient orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
