Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Highbridge Drift Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Jackson with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
