Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Meridian Banking Services is a regional lender in Charlotte with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in deposit accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on account openings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
