Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
