Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Quarry Energy and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in service connections and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
