Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Fernwood Ridge Early Learning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
