Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Nova West Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Baltimore, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on harvest schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
