Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Summit Rook Manufacturing is a Virginia Beach manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 316 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in tooling and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on scrap and rework. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
