Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Rowan Banking Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on fraud alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
