Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Northwind Bright Staffing places workers with employers around Anchorage, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on retention. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
