Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Highbridge Beacon Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around New Orleans with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 68 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
