Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Cobalt Construction is a Hartford contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on permits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
