Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Ironwood Wren Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
