Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Willow Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
