Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Nest Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Baltimore. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 971 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
