Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Lantern Financial and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
