Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Meridian Inspection Services Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on scheduling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
