Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Ivory Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Investigate trends in service alerts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
