Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Harborlight Field Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
