Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Harborlight Fox Auto Group is a Omaha company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
