Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Timber Construction delivers building projects for owners across the San Diego region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in safety records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on change orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
