Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Nova Drift Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Chicago. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
