Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Northwind Amber Property Management is a Portland property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in rent collection and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
