Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Nova Pike Construction Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
