Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Junction Staffing is a Birmingham staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
