Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Meadow Manufacturing is a Charleston manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
