Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Silverline Timber Pharma is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in clinical studies and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on cleanroom operations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
