Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Amberfield Basin Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for branch operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 571 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on deposit accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
