Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)
Bright West Energy · Remote · full time
Bright West Energy is an energy provider in Denver focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting.
You would join a large organisation of about 937 people, working mostly from home.
What you will do
• Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump.
• Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them.
• Recommend changes and measure whether they worked.
• Build dashboards that managers actually open every week.
• Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere.
What we are looking for
• Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills.
• Clear writing.
• Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
• The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it.
Nice to have
• Python or R for analysis.
• Experience with data on meter readings.
Working arrangement
• Full-time, on a regular day shift.
• Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Denver.
• We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
