Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Redstone Juniper Foods Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in ingredient orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
