Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Silverline Mill Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service connections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
