Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Westbrook Construction is a Chicago contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
