Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Union Legal Group is a law firm in Detroit serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in intake forms and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on client files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
