Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Silverline Sable Markets serves neighbourhoods around Cincinnati with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
