Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Nova Umber Farms is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in seasonal crews and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
